This subject is the technical maintenance of this jragan.com web site. This web site is primarily of a technical nature, with some coverage of especially corrupt, illegal, and and stupid political issues that are attempts to destroy Science, America, and the Church. Click "HERE" to see a partial list of sciences and technologies addressed on this web site. This document (page) does not address the content of any of those topics. This document (page) addresses technical issues of this entire web site in which the consumer may be interested, such as those shown above on the "Table Of Contents" .
End of this SiteNote document's "Subject".
This site began as professional research and marketing of commercial contract skills to large corporations back in the last century, which is why it carries the owner's name, and has a "dot com" suffix. Unimpressive for big companies, but unimaginable for an individual , database managers were experimentally operated across the internet when system development began in this man's home office. End of the History subject.
I like working "down on the metal" whenever possible, because it saves time, saves money, and maintains my independence. Unfortunately, I have never had time to build my own operating system. The huge amount of time invested by most people in constantly learning how to operate computer programs is just flat stupid. Therefore, this entire web site is, and has always been, constructed and maintained using Note Pad ; i.e., without a word processor. End of the Writing subject.
Until recently, a word processor, so old that it may have dated from back in the eighties, was used for spell checking and for counting words and other character strings;. My seventeen computers have begun dying, and the latest death took that old word processor with it. Nothing can be done about the spell checker. That is unfortunate since my spelling is atrocious. My old keyboard also has a problem with spelling since some of his keys have begun to misfire.
The word counter is not a big problem, but it forced work stoppage for some weeks to build a string counter into my faithful old "CoreDoc" document manager. The mechanism removes such things as the title boxes at the top of sections, and other special characters before starting the count. An HTML stripper has also been built into it to remove the internet language from the word count. (I cannot help it. I was a software engineer.) (HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language), is one of the languages that we use to build and control the internet.) Duration : Other than our Creator, this one has no boss, so the word counter will be finished when I feel that it is finished. It is counting character strings now and doing a good job, so I may or may not stop its development. There is just too much to do. This web site has become a full time project. For years, I have had a longing to work on information theory, and it is not getting done. There is a strong feeling that the Lord intends to show to me a component of the universe that is even more important, more complex, and more fundamental than the "UCM" (Universal Construct Model) that he showed to me. There has not even been time to correct an error in the "UCM" that I saw years ago. End of Word Count Problem subject.
The "CoreReader" and "CoreModel" technologies' design and coding have not been updated in years, so they are no longer considered saleable. However, their purpose, theory, design, and coding make them major software projects that may still be of interest to computer science, so they are not currently scheduled for removal from the site. Their copyrights are still in effect. End of the System Retirement subject.
You cannot know the complexity and stupidity in a date string such as "Mar 1, 2020, 8:23 AM" until you have been forced to build and debug computer systems that recognize dates, and that interact with people and with other systems. The dates on this web site are of the "CoreDate" protocol. Coredate was conceived and designed for my systems, and later incorporated into contract jobs. Receiving pleasure from giving contractors more than they paid for, I gave CoreDate to their systems to simplify their maintenance, increase their power, and increase their security. Thus, jragan.com is prepared for a system interface. A bit of system engineer humor. It is actually a date-time protocol, so you can add hours, minutes, seconds, time zone etc., and because of its strict format, a system, or you, can glance at it to know that it is a coredate, and what information it carries. Its accuracy support is ten millionths of a second, range support is twenty thousand years, starting at 10,000 BC, and environment support includes extra-terestrial with universal synchronization mechanisms. It is designed to sit at or near the top of any network stack, is designed to allow administration from any or all (yes, all) locations in its network, and is designed to cover any Milky Way environment, including relativistic-state recognition. Notice how it rejected superfluous symbols and information. End of Date Protocol subject.
A connection directly to the internet backbone is expensive, so ISPs(Internet Service Providers) are companies that lease permanent internet connections for web sites like this one. They also provide traffic statistics to web site owners like this one. This note is to let you know that I have not looked at those data since I began changing this site from business to a more personal project. Not because I am good, but because my boss hates sneakiness that yall are beginning to take for granted. Which reminds me... I have no cell phone, television, email, or internet connection. I work on this web site at nome, and sometimes carry a laptop computer around town looking for a wi-fi connection to upload to this web site. And have not answered a stranger's call on my real phone in decades. End of Site Statistics subject.
May the LORD's will be done among all men, and may his will be celebrated by all.
But let us not try to guess the LORD's intent. Considering the amount of physical, psychological, and chemical abuse that this heavily scarred temple has suffered, its occupant has, for decades, expected it to collapse any day. Praise be to our God for allowing this grateful old man time to repent, learn, and serve him for a while. See also "A Personal Battle" (( This work was prepared for me, and because of the way that I am constructed, this web site may have been more fun than anything else in my eighty years. But I was reminded by Alastair Beg's sermon this morning (20231009) that I am sleep-deprived by it, and have been so for months and maybe for years. Maybe I will allow a movie to put me to sleep and then go to bed early today, but I frequently tell that to myself, and then fail.))
End of Personal Factor subject.
Working alone, and with no dependents, he had decided before the turn of the millennium that he wanted to be dependent on our Father. So his social security check is sufficient for an ugly old man. The fear that he feels now and then is a good thing that reminds him of their relationship and keeps his ego in check. If you have ever received or red (read) a request for money or help for this web site, then it is a lie. I have never asked for financial assistance of any kind for any reason. If you think of it when praying, so that you thank God for this web site, that will be sufficient, and I will be grateful.
End of Finances subject.
This web site is too big for one man to maintain. Also, evinced by performance, and forecast by standardized tests, this man's administrative abilities are too small to maintain any web site. Therefore, please forgive me, but this web site may never be properly maintained. An example, on which I work this evening, is the maintenance of the "Dates" on the various subjects. Most subjects have two dates; that of publication, and that of the latest update. Except for clerical errors, of which I am extraordinarily gifted, those dates are accurate when recorded as the event took place. In those cases wherein the date was not recorded when the subject was uploaded, you may find that they have approximate upload dates, which are identified by an approximate sign (~) before the date. Example;
